BNSF 9288 South via Rogers |
Description: |
The Rogers mainline was and still is a bypass around Delta Yard that all the Amtrak trains travel daily. Occasionally a coal train can travel this way as it will eventually end up at Lowell. I used to work at the rr bridge this train is cossing. 10mph until the train is off the bridge. |

Title: |
BNSF 9288 South via Rogers |
Description: |
Quite view of an empty coal train crossing the Snohomish River over BR 37 and under the SR529 highway bridge. This empty coal train navagating some tight radius at 10mph starting down the Rogers Mainline. This is the route of all Amtrak trains on the BNSF Bellingham Sub. Another thing that drives people nuts is that on each side of Rogers Mainline are "Old Rogers" and "New Rogers" siding tracks. The only way I could remember which one was which was "Old man river" stuck in my head or eventually to "Old Rogers" was next to the river. Which means if you can remember that..then its easy to know which side of the Rogers Mainline "Rogers New" track is. |
